THE STORY: KOREAN WAR 1952
...the Chinese battlefront has entered into a stalemate against their American enemy. On a road separating the opposing sides, neither the Chinese nor the Americans dare make a move for fear of further casualties.
Follow Army Corporal Martin Summers, a young and unsuspecting American Medic whose inner moral-compass drives him to follow what is right; will his actions prove to be a success or will the likelihood of an enemy ambush and further casualties prevail?
To find out, one must cross A LINE BETWEEN.
BEHIND THE STORY:
A TALE OF TWO SIDES
A Line Between is a story of valor, the similarity between enemies and the responsibility that comes when one must choose whether to follow their heart or obey direct orders.
War will test the strongest virtues and convictions a person can believe. Soldiers on both sides of the line all want the same thing, the well being for the men fighting alongside them. However sometimes the cost of saving a life, is putting others at great risk and suffering greater losses.
I believe that I can bring a unique perspective to the Korean War through one small story within a larger picture. Being the Grandson of a Chinese Soldier that had fought in the war, I grew up listening to stories that aren't commonly shared or known. I always considered my Grandfather to be the role model in my life. He taught me the value of brotherhood which is why I grew interested in the bond that forms between fellow Soldiers and the similar relationships they share, despite being on different sides.
I believe that by showing this point of view, the stories from Soldiers on both sides of the line can finally be shared. In the end, we must learn to look beyond, A Line Between.
